Reverend William Timothy Glynn Personal Information: Marital Status: Proud Parents of three(3) daughters (Timberlyn, Kimberlyn & Alice), one son (Drew):
Reverend William Timothy Glynn was called by God to the ministry and began preaching at the age of 17 years old. He was licensed and ordained by the Mount Horeb Missionary Baptist Church of Houston, Texas in 1975 and 1977. Reverend Glynn furthered his education at Bishop College in Dallas, Texas during the years of 1975 and 1976. In 1977 he attended the Mount Hope Bible College of Houston, Texas and received a Bachelor of Theology degree in 1979 and his Master of Theology degree in 1982. Reverend Glynn was called to pastor the Saint Mark Missionary Baptist Church of Houston, Texas in 1980 and remained there for ten (10) years. Reverend Glynn was called to pastor the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church of Fort Worth, Texas in 1991 and has remained at Mount Olive for seventeen years. Reverend Glynn has held numerous memberships and affiliations with organizations throughout the country. Currently, he is actively serving as the Moderator of the North Texas District Association (1999- present), the 2nd Vice President of the Missionary Baptist General Convention of Texas (2003-present), and the 1st Vice President of the National Baptist Convention of America, Incorporated (2004-present). |
